Oceantec provides a complete range of commercial diving activities to clients in the Oil and Gas, Shipping, and Marine Infrastructure Industries. Diving is our core competency, with over thirty years of experience in the sector.

 

Oceantec have a tremendous safety record and work regularly with the industries top regulatory bodies. Our vast local knowledge and experience in the Northern Territory have guaranteed a proven track record in any condition, in particularly in tropical areas with large semidiurnal tide fluctuation. Our work history spans all over the Northern Territory, specialising in remote area projects.

Oceantec possesses a vast amount of experience, knowledge and expertise in the maintenance, repair, upgrade, and installation of infrastructure including but not limited to pipeline inspection and repair, structure inspection and repair, underwater welding, underwater NDT, and subsea survey.

 

Oceantec provides inspection diving services in conjunction with ROV inspection from a special purpose vessels, or on client issued vessels. We offer class accredited inspection and are approved in-water service providers for Lloyds Register, Bureau Veritas (BV) and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).

Our assets and resources include vessel integrated dive systems, we have two state of the art Dive Support Vessels (DSV Issabelle and DSV Josharelle).  Our containerised diving spreads can be mobilised onto large vessels with an accompanying recompression chamber/s and project specific tooling applicable to larger scopes.

Smaller “flyaway” portable spread is available for smaller remote scopes and can be mobilized at a moment’s notice. All diving systems are maintained to IMCA D040 and ADAS 2299 standard to ensure the highest quality and safety is achieved.

Oceantecs’ diving department offers a full range of subsea services to support client projects and execute scopes that underpin integrated operations. Diving capabilities include both air and enriched air nitrox techniques ensuring safe diving to depths up to 50M. Oceantec diving services are conducted in accordance with IMCA Guidelines, Australian Standards, and industry best practise.

Our diving personnel, from Project Managers, Superintendents, Supervisors to our divers are highly qualified and experienced in a wide range of diving related activities. Further, our regular dive crews are familiar with our equipment, systems, procedures, and have long histories working together with our marine crews, helping to ensure safe and efficient integrated operations.
